Parts that tightly connect mechanical equipment
Nuts are parts that tightly connect mechanical equipment. Through the internal threads, nuts and bolts of the same specification can be connected. For example, an M4-P0.7 nut can only be connected with an M4-P0.7 series bolt (in the nut, M4 indicates that the inner diameter of the nut is approximately 4mm, and 0.7 indicates that the distance between two screw threads is 0.7mm); the same is true for American products, for example, a 1/4-20 nut can only be matched with a 1/4-20 screw (1/4 indicates that the inner diameter of the nut is approximately 0.25 inches, and 20 indicates that there are 20 teeth per inch). DISC-LOCK locknuts consist of two parts, each with interlocking cams. Due to the internal wedge design, the slope angle is greater than the nut angle of the bolt. This combination tightly bites into a whole. When vibration occurs, the raised parts of the DISC-LOCK locknuts move against each other, generating lifting tension, thus achieving a perfect anti-loosening effect.
